Ian has led a long and varied career from a warehouseman, RSPCA Inspector and Chiropractor to a writer. He has travelled extensively by motorbike, sailboat and hiking. His best adventures? Sailing a boat singlehanded around the UK, riding a motorbike around the Himalayas, crawling around a cave in Cuba and hanging out of the trains in India.

 

But now he finds himself shackled to a desk while living on a sailboat surrounded by the majesty of the Scottish Highlands, drawing off the wealth of Celtic, Anglo-Saxon and north European myths and legends, and allowing his imagination to run riot.
